Peacefully after a lengthy illness at Toronto East General Hospital on Friday December 24, 2010 at the age of 80. Predeceased by wife Laura. Beloved father of Lynn Baird ( Bob), Donna Gumbley and Charlene Szabo (John). Loving grandfather to Christine, Matthew, Reg, Johnathan, Ashley and Char, and “GG” to Jessica, Christopher, Cole, Caden, Morgan, Savannah and Erin. Very special uncle to Arthur Grant. Fondly remembered by his extended family and friends. Funeral service will be held at noon on Thursday December 30, 2010 at Aftercare, 1097 O’Connor Drive (north of St. Clair). Visitation one hour prior. A reception will be held following the funeral at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 11 (9 Dawes Road). If desired, donation’s may be made in Bill’s memory to the Toronto East General Hospital Foundation.
Suddenly but peacefully at home on Friday December 24, 2010 at the age of 49 following a short but valiant battle with cancer. Jeff is predeceased by parents Robert G. Waston (d.1983) and Janet Watson (nee Barnes) (d.1979) and brothers John David Watson (d.2003) and Bruce Alexander Watson (d1978). Jeff will be fondly remembered by older brother Jim, his uncle David Barnes and long-time closest friends Tony, Shorty, Dave Niblock and Scott Doyle. Jeff has been cremated and a memorial celebration of his life will be held in the spring.

He will be greatly missed by sons Billy and Bradley, parents Bernice and Denny, sister Elaine (Manny) and Denise (Richard) and niece and nephews Brandon, Ryan and Emily. Our beloved mother, Joan Kantores, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 17, 2010 at the age of 79. Joan will be greatly missed by her daughters and their partners Sheila (Wade), Susan (Brent), Shari (Frank) and Sandra (Bob); grandchildren Crystal (Ivo) and Kyle; great grandchild Marcus; ex-husband William; and the many, many people whose lives she touched along her journey. Our mom was a very special lady and lived a long and full life, March 28, 1931 to December 17, 2010. Outside of her love for her family and close friends, her next greatest love was for her cottage home. A memorial service to commemorate her ashes will be held at the Springdale Church, 30 Merritt Road, Toronto on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 2pm. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

A Funeral Mass of Remembrance will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Of Hungary Church, 432 Sheppard Avenue East (west of Bayview).
